Who we are and what we do
Who we are
Fire Investigators are professionals from the Fire and Rescue Service industry ranging from Firefighters to Middle Managers, to Human Resources specialists, to Brigade Managers.
We provide organisations and individuals with experienced and qualified investigators to deliver effective investigation capabilities predominantly in the areas of organisational culture and matters arising such as disciplinary cases and incidents of bullying, victimisation and discrimination. All of our consultants have been elected based upon their organisational experience, qualifications and previous involvement in such matters.
What we do
Our investigators and consultants all maintain qualifications and skills within the Local Authority Fire and Rescue sector. In addition each holds accredited investigation qualifications along with other specialisms to provide a premium solution delivery to our clients. We use these skills along with the breadth of experiences to deliver our solutions with a holistic approach to provide a balanced view to support evidence. Post incident audits
We undertake post incident reviews and audits to support organisations in learning and improvement from incidents if all sizes, providing reports identifying good practice and learning implementation points. We also recommend technology or equipment that may support improvements.
Themed strategic exercises
We plan a deliver organisational exercises including no notice exercises to test operational response and procedures in response to the ever evolving risk profile faced by our Fire and Rescue Services.
Debrief facilitation
We facilitate and lead organisational debriefs at all levels for incidents and training events. Where possible and appropriate we deploy investigators to the scene of operations for secure capture of contemporaneous data in support of effective debriefing.
Safety
Safety event investigations
Our investigators undertake near miss or injury investigations, securing evidence and producing a report on causes, preventative measures and organisational learning for such events, supporting investigations of organisational safety departments, trade unions and enforcing bodies.
Independent fire investigations
Our qualified and experienced fire investigators can be called upon to provide independent investigations on the origin and progress of fires to support Police and Fire service investigations, provide independent reviews and to represent insurance organisations to ensure that accurate assessments of cause can be provided to support any litigation processes.
